Where the Light Falls
Before a new chapter can be spoken, it will reveal itself in images, colours, symbols, and beauty in the natural world.
Where the Light Falls is a 4 month contemplative women's series to help you explore your next chapter through art, reflection and connection with the natural world—helping you make room for what’s next.

✨ Hello and welcome, my name is Rachel.
Perhaps you've found your way here because something in your life is changing. You're longing for more space to breathe, to create, to listen, to discover what this next season of your life might be asking so you can live a new story. You may not have the words for it yet—only a quiet sense that something new is calling to you.
Over time, we can become so identified with what we do, who needs us, and what is expected of us that it becomes difficult to distinguish those roles from the deeper self beneath them. I created The Forest Studio as a quiet, reflective space to support women moving through this transition.
Where the Light Falls is not about reinventing your life. It is about creating enough space to notice what has been quietly waiting for your attention.
As you begin to slow down, you may find yourself grieving parts of your life that no longer fit, questioning old assumptions, and recognizing dreams you've postponed or forgotten. You may discover that what once gave your life meaning is changing, and that certainty is gradually giving way to curiosity. While this can feel unsettling, it can also be the beginning of living with greater freedom, honesty, and intention.
Together, we'll explore this season through contemplative art, yoga, meditation, reflective writing, meaningful conversation, and dedicated time in the natural world. Rather than searching for answers, we'll practice paying attention—to what moves you, what returns again and again, what feels alive, and what asks to be released.
This is the quiet work of becoming. Not becoming someone else, but gently returning to yourself.
As you deepen your relationship with creativity, nature, and your own inner life, you'll begin to cultivate something more enduring than certainty: the capacity to trust yourself, to make choices that feel deeply aligned, and to create the conditions for a life that reflects who you are now—not who you've always been expected to be.

Kind words from women
Rachel has a rare gift for listening beneath the words. She can gently reframe and distill what you're trying to express into something deeply heartfelt and meaningful, helping you feel truly heard, understood, and able to see your situation with fresh perspective. Her insights create the clarity needed for lasting, meaningful change.

Rachel is an exceptional facilitator...warm, compassionate, and deeply attuned to the people she works with. She creates a space where everyone feels safe, seen, and genuinely valued. This is the kind of thoughtful care and presence our world needs more of. If you're considering joining one of her women's series, don't hesitate, you won't regret it.
Mel, 47
What makes this course so special is the pace. There was no pressure to have the answers or to become someone new. Instead, Rachel gently helped us slow down, listen deeply, and notice what was already trying to emerge within us. The combination of nature, creativity, and reflection created profound shifts that I never expected.
Fiona, 63
Rachel has created something truly unique. Rather than offering quick fixes, she invites you into a process of listening, to yourself, to nature, and to what is quietly calling you forward. If you're longing for more meaning, clarity, or simply a place to breathe and reconnect, this investment is a beautiful gift to yourself.

4 Month Overview
Month One | Coming Home to Yourself
Friday, September 18, 2026
Every season of change begins by slowing down. Before we know where we're going, we first need to reconnect with where we are.
Through contemplative art, reflective writing, nature-based mindfulness, and group conversation, you'll begin to untangle yourself from the roles and expectations you've been carrying and reconnect with the quieter voice beneath them.
Supported by group and one-to-one coaching, you'll create space to breathe, listen, and gently rediscover what feels most true for you.
September is about returning to yourself.
Month Two | What Wants to Emerge
Friday, October 16, 2026
When we stop trying to force answers, something unexpected begins to happen. We notice what captures our attention, what feels alive, and what quietly keeps returning.
Through creative exploration, nature-based practices, and reflective dialogue, you'll learn to trust your curiosity and intuition as guides. Rather than creating with a fixed outcome, you'll allow your artwork to become a conversation with the next chapter of your life.
Supported by group and one-to-one coaching, you'll begin to recognize the possibilities that have been waiting for your attention.
October is about following what feels alive.
Month Three | Working with Resistance
Friday, November 13, 2026
Every meaningful change brings resistance. Part of you longs to move forward, while another part wants to stay where it feels safe.
This month, we'll explore these inner tensions through guided psychosynthesis exercises, contemplative art, reflective writing, and nature-based mindfulness. Rather than fighting the parts that hold you back, you'll learn to meet them with curiosity and compassion.
Along the way, you'll draw inspiration from women artists, poets, and writers whose work reminds us that creativity often begins in uncertainty. Supported by group and one-to-one coaching, you'll begin to soften old patterns, integrate opposing parts of yourself, and create space for what wants to emerge next.
November is about transforming resistance into a source of wisdom and growth.
